The Rising Together initiative is designed to help our local brewing community come together and showcase the fantastic beer being made in our area.
Be on the lookout during Sacramento Beer Week (April 26–May 5, 2024) for the Rising Together beer at the participating breweries. Each brewery will have a different take on this beer so be sure to try them all.
The sale of this beer supports the Sacramento Area Brewers Guild, the local breweries, taproom staff, and all areas the hospitality industry that we love and care about.
Rising Together is an effort to support the Sacramento Area Brewers Guild and it’s members by creating a unifying collaboration beer to be released as close to April 22, 2023 and the start of Sacramento Beer Week as possible. This effort will encourage fans of craft beer to get out and taste the different takes on the same beer all week long.
We are asking for anyone who participates in this collaboration to please use the label provided. You can use that as a jumping off point or use it as it is but please name the beer, Rising Together.
The base recipe is a clean IPA with Strata but you can do whatever you want. You will receive the recipe upon signing up. What you do with the recipe is up to them. Want to make it a triple IPA? Go for it. Sour beer. The world is your oyster. Want to do a 40 bbl batch or just a 3 bbl batch? There’s no limiting sizes here.

White Labs is offering 25% off yeast purchases for this beer and BSG is offering discounts on specific ingredients. You’ll receive more info on how to order when you sign up to participate.
In the lead up to Beer Week and during, you can use the supplied graphics for any social media posts.
The guild is asking for a $100 donation to participate. This fee helps the guild continue the efforts throughout the year including Sacramento Beer Week, California Craft Brewers Cup and other advocacy on your behalf. In exchange, you get discounted printing, discounted grain and yeast for the beer, and hopefully a bunch of people showing up to try the beer.
